• Fine Needle Biopsy (FNB) is usually performed during EUS procedures for non-pancreatic lesions where the tip design of the traditional Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) needle is not optimal. Several prospective cohort studies (Kim et al. And Dewit et al.) Have shown a significant improvement in diagnostic yield with FNB needles in non-pancreatic lesions and gastric subepithelial masses.
