The Ambu ResKey is a proven, easy-to-use and filtered barrier that prevents direct contact with the patient’s mouth, nose and face and helps overcome hesitations about starting resuscitation.
Ambu ResKey is a translucent face shield with a filter. The filter allows air to flow while taking rescue breathing and at the same time filters the air from the patient.
The transparent face shield is designed to cover the entire face of the patient and also allows the rescuer to visually check the patient’s face and lip color and prevent contact with the patient’s saliva, vomiting or blood.
The face shield has two integrated elastic ear straps that fit over the patient’s ears to hold the mask in place while resuscitating. Therefore, standard resuscitation techniques can be used without modification or risk of shifting the patient’s face shield.
Ambu ResKey is packaged in a small soft case where it can be easily attached to a key ring. That way, Ambu ResKey can be used at all times.
