Hurricane™ RX Biliary Balloon Dilatation Catheter

The Hurricane RX Bile Balloon Catheter is a double lumen catheter for endoscopic expansion of the strictures of the bile tree and Oddi Sphincter. The balloon is available in a variety of sizes to accommodate patient anatomy and stenosis size.

Low profile, 5.8Fr balloon shaft designed to reduce resistance and increase pushability when crossing constrictions

• The 4Fr tip is designed for less traumatic progression through the stenosis
• Stainless steel reinforcement stylet placed in the proximal part of the catheter shaft to increase friction
• RX catheter design provides guidewire locking for safe access

• Two radiopaque markers help position the balloon

• The long 4 cm balloon length is designed to offer stability during stenosis dilation
• The balloon is recommended for use with the Encore ™ 26 Inflation Device, developed for rapid deflation to potentially reduce patient discomfort.
